Hernione is absolutely my favorite character from the Harry Potter series; I mean, Harry and Ron would have been pretty helpless without Hermione (even when she was petrified, they still couldn’t figure out the mystery of the Chamber of Secrets without her help). She’s a great role model for young girls, just like she was for me when I first read the books. Hermione shows you that you can be book smart and still be badass and save the world. Her’s my homage to the girl who Harry probably wouldn’t have survived without: Hermione Granger.
“Run the World (Girls)” by Beyonce
Hermione could definitely run the world if she wanted to.
“Oceans” by Seafret
By the last book, Hermione knows that the only person she wants is Ron, but when Ron leaves, he seems oceans away.
“Doing the Right Thing” by Daughter
One of the hardest things Hermione does within the series is to erase her parents’ memories in order to save them from Voldemort. It may have been difficult, but it was the right thing.
“Kiss with a Fist” by Florence + the Machine
Hermione doesn’t kid around when it comes to fights. She’s in it to win it.
“00000 Million” by Bon Iver
Similar to the speaker in the song, Hermione is able to overcome the many hardships she is faced with within her life.
“Mountain Sound” by Of Monsters and Men
While perhaps not completely her idea, Hermione ensures that when her, Ron, and Harry are on the run from Voldemort, they are well taken care of and have all of the necessary supplies.
“Bad Blood” by Bastille
The travels in Deathly Hallows creates a lot of bad blood between Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and Hermione just wants them to focus on moving passed the conflict.
“O Children” by Nick Cave
Hermione feels like she has the weight of the world on her shoulders, knowing that Harry needs her in order to save the world from Voldemort.
“Flawless” by the Neighbourhood
While Hermione loved Ron, she was willing to give up that love if it meant fighting for the greater good.
“Hit Me With Your Best Shot” by Pat Benatar
Hermione always gets back up, no matter how many times she’s knocked down.
What other songs would you include on Hermione’s list?
