So I read Thunderhead (the sequel to Scythe) in about a day while I was at a conference last week; a review will come later this week! But man–Shusterman is the master of plot twists in those books. So many things happened that I didn’t really see coming. One of the main attractions of Shusterman’s series is one of the main characters: Citra Terranova. Citra is smart and dangerous, ready to alter the world of Scythes for good. To tide us over until the next book comes out (hopefully next year!), here’s a playlist supporting a badass female character.
