I’m fully aware that traditionally, Small Business Saturday was last weekend, but I was at work all weekend and didn’t get a chance to write a post about it! There are a lot of great bookish shops out there, and I wanted to feature some of my favorites, especially since the holidays are just around the corner. It’s still early enough that you should be able to purchase stuff and have it shipped in time for Christmas. Planning ahead pays off sometimes!
From bookmarks to candles to book sleeves, the bookstagram community has a lot of great things to choose from. If you’re shopping for any bookworms this holiday season, these are shops you’ll want to check out because they make fantastic products!
I repped for Hey Atlas on Instagram this past summer, and their bookmarks and products are amazing! Plus Cade is such a genuinely nice person, which means supporting their business is even more rewarding. They’ve added some new products for the holiday season, including a Harry Potter Christmas bundle.
Maribel makes beautiful sleeves to protect your books inspired by your favorite fandoms. I bought a Harry Potter one from her that I absolutely love; and they come in all different sizes to protect all different books! Definitely something every avid reader needs.
This is the shop that I probably have the most bookish candles from, and that’s because Brittany creates beautifully themed candle boxes. So far, I’ve gotten a Harry Potter themed one and a contemporary YA themed one, and all the candles smelled amazing! And candles are just the best anyway.
I love the mugs Anna makes, even though I only own one. They adorable and really sturdy, perfect for your morning cup of coffee. There are also tote bags in her shop in case you’re looking for something to hold all your books!
Haleigh from Sweet Sequels hand paints all her products, and they’re all equally beautiful! You can get everything from prints to clothing in her shop, even large cozy blankets perfect for those chilly winter evenings. She’s really active in the Instagram community, and that’s the first place I found her (like every other company here).
In addition to the shops here, I also opened up my own Etsy shop this past summer, which has lots of bookish hand painted items, including Christmas cards. There’s a link at the top of my blog; you still have time to order products in time for Christmas!
