My life in books

My life in books

Saturday is a good time to feature a tag, specifically “My Life in Books,” right? When browsing blogs the other day, I found this tag, and it seems like fun! I found the tag on Mayumi’s blog, The Quotex. It was originated by Beatrice over at the Dreamland Book Blog.

These questions all revolve around me, so with all my new followers, I thought this would be a good sort of get to know the blogger post! Since I feel like I’ve been so review oriented lately, I thought this would be a good change of pace. Check out my previous book tag: A to Z in Books!

My Life in Books

Find a book for each of your initials:

A: Archenemies by Marissa Meyer

E: Echo North by Joanna Ruth Meyer

S: Skyward by Brandon Sanderson

Count your age along your bookshelf: what book is it?

Sleeping Freshman Never Lie by David Lubar. The 27th book on my unreadshelf book cart!

Pick a book set in your city/country

The Wake trilogy by Lisa McMann. Well, it’s set in Michigan, so that counts, right? At least, according to Google. It’s been awhile since I’ve actually read it.

Pick a book that represents a destination you want to travel

The Call by Peadar O’Guilin, which is set in Ireland! I wouldn’t want to go to the particular Ireland depicted in the book, but I’d love to visit the present day country!

Pick a book that’s your favorite color

The Crown by Kiera Cass. I haven’t actually read this particular dystopian series, but it does have a purple cover!

Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

Harry Potter. The answer will probably always be Harry Potter because I made a lot of friendships because of that series. Plus, I will always remember those midnight releases.

Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

Pretty much anything by Charles Dickens, which I had to read for a few classes when I was in college. His books are just so long!

Which book on your TBR will give you the biggest accomplishment when you finish it?

Can I just say all the old Spider-Man comics? Because I’ve been working my way through them for at least a year and I still feel like I haven’t made a dent.

I tag anyone who read this post and wants to participate!
