Another prompt for Bookending Spring, this time we get an Easter Time Book Tag! Tags are something I’ve just started doing recently, and I love them. Since it’s starting to get warmer outside (except it’s supposed to snow tonight 😂), spring book tags are the perfect thing!

Easter Time Book Tag
Easter Egg: Name a book that seems like a hidden gem
More Than This by Patrick Ness. I don’t see anyone talk about this book ever, and it’s probably one of my favorite Patrick Ness book. If not my favorite (it’s so hard to pick. This book isn’t at all what you think it is at the beginning, and that’s what I love so much about it.
Bloom: A debut novel you loved
Recently, The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman. It’s a small town with something creepy going on, and it definitely gave me Stranger Things vibes. It came out last week and you should check it out!
Chocolate Bunny: A book so good you didn’t want it to end
Rayne & Delilah’s Midnite Matinee by Jeff Zentner. This book was so funny, and then it got so real by the end. It had everything you could ever want in a book, and I can’t wait to read it again in the (hopefully) near future.
Cheep, Cheep: A book you bought for super cheap
Umm. I bought a used paperback of The Serpent King for $2 from a used bookstore in Chicago! This is the only one I can think of at the moment.
Jelly Bean: A book you bought that was just so sweet
I technically haven’t bought it yet, but I have an eARC of Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett. This book was so adorable and sweet and full of delicious pie. Need I say more?
Church: A book that changed your life
Is it cliche to say Harry Potter? Because I’m going to say Harry Potter. In a way, that book series is responsible for a lot of the decisions and connections I made in college, and I will forever be grateful for that.
Easter Basket: A book filled with so many surprises
Since I already used More Than This once in this post, I think I’m going to go with Girls with Sharp Sticks by Suzanne Young. This is another recent release that left me surprised by the end. Definitely worth a read if you haven’t picked it up yet!
That’s it! I tag anyone else that wants to complete this lovely, fun tag.

Ah thanks so much for doing this tag! It was so fun reading your answers!! I want to read Girls with Sharp Sticks super soon! Also, I can’t wait to read Serious Moonlight. I read Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett last year and loved it, so I have pretty high expectations for this one! 😊
