Though I’m waiting a bit longer to post my review, I figured a playlist for Avengers Endgame was in order! I’ve already seen the movie twice, and I’ve been in a totally Avengers mood since. Captain Marvel should have been in the movie way more than she was, but what can you do. I guess we’ll be getting a lot more of her in the years to come! At least, I hope so. She’s one of my favorites.
Last year, I made this playlist in anticipation for Avengers: Infinity War. Eventually, I should make playlists for all the Avengers, but right now, I only have Spider-Man. Which makes sense because he’s my favorite, right? Right. 😂 I love making these playlists, so maybe I’ll have to do it more frequently! I used to do it weekly, but that just got to be a bit too much. Maybe bi-weekly? Something to think about!
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Without further ado, my playlist dedicated to the Avengers, taking a final stand against Thanos.
Avengers Endgame Playlist
An apt description of the state of things at the end of the movie.
This was written for Game of Thrones, but it fits the Avengers as well. Especially for this movie.
After years of living with guilt, the leftover Avengers are offered a bit of hope.
“Us Against the World” by Coldplay
It’s not really the entire Avengers against the world, but it is kind of them against a world? A.K.A. Thanos’s world-ish. It counts.
“Whatever It Takes” by Imagine Dragons
A bit on the nose, but I mean, it was the tag line for the whole movie leading up to the release.
By the end, I think the Avengers need a bit of confidence to get them through.
“What’s Up Danger” by Blackway & Black Cavier
Stolen from Spider-Man, but Spider-Man is part of the Avengers, so it works.
At the end of the day, the superheroes are who win the battle.
Can you really have a hero playlist without this song?
“Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds
An apt song for the ending of the movie.
