Prince Henry

Prince Henry

I know, I know, I made a playlist for Red, White, & Royal Blue last month. But Prince Henry is just begging for his own playlist as well! Plus, I feel like his music is much better suited for fall. Though I read a decent amount in August, there wasn’t much that stood out to me, playlist wise. I’m sure that will change in September with all the fantastic releases coming out.

Can we take a moment to just relish in the fact that it’s September? And it’s finally, basically fall? My absolute favorite season. I was doing a bit of blog planning earlier, and I can’t wait for all the fall themed posts. However, I am taking three classes this semester, so we’ll see if I get to them. 😂

Anyway, back to Prince Henry. Prepare for a dark, moody playlist that’ll get you in the mood for fall, 100%.

Prince Henry Playlist

“Dive” by Ed Sheeran

Since their first meaning, Prince Henry wanted to dive in with Alex. But Alex had no idea.

“Doing the Right Thing” by Daughter

When we first meet Prince Henry, we see him through Alex’s eyes. But, we learn that he’s really been repressing who he really is for basically his whole life in the name of “doing the right thing.”

“It Takes A Lot To Know a Man” by Damien Rice

As we slowly start to learn about Henry through Alex, we learn he’s way more complicated than he first appears to be. And, a lot cooler. 😂

“Hunger” by Florence + The Machine

Not only is Henry lonely, but he also easily falls in love with Alex. Together, they help each other work through their difficulties.

“Stay with Me” by Sam Smith

After their first night together, both Alex and Henry can’t stop thinking about each other. Maybe they’re not good at one night stands, either?

“Slow It Down” by The Lumineers

After the whirlwind of the beginning of their relationship, I bet Henry wishes he could slow down time. Treasure the stolen moments they have together.

“U (Man Like)” by Bon Iver

I can’t explain why this fits, it just does. Because there absolutely has to be a Bon Iver song on this list.

“Take Me To Church” by Hozier

Henry opens himself up to Alex, allowing himself to be completely vulnerable. Something completely new for him as well.

“Don’t Stop Me Now” by The Regrettes

The song that Henry sings during karaoke, allowing himself to finally let loose.

“Your Song” by Elton John (cover from Rocketman)

Alex and Henry’s song. Yes, a duplicate from last month, but oh well. 😂
