Down the TBR Hole: August Edition
Down the TBR Hole: September Edition

Oh man guys, September is flying by! I meant to post this yesterday, but I had a bunch of work to do after I got home. To be honest, I had a bunch of work to do today too, but I’m still writing this post. Because we all need a break from work occasionally.

Down the TBR Hole is a meme created by Lia over at Lost in a Story to work through that TBR list. I’ve been working through 8 books on my to-read Goodreads shelf. You can see my last post here!

The meme goes like this:

  • Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf
  • Put in ascending order by date added
  • Take the first 5 or so books (8 in my case)
  • Read the summary
  • Decide: stay or go?

Still been adding books like crazy, but I don’t think we’re caught up to that yet. Guess that’s the plight of a bookworm; always adding to that TBR!

Down the TBR Hole: September Edition

This Is What It Feels Like by Rebecca Barrow

Looking at this book, I don’t remember even adding it to my TBR? It’s about a group of girls forming a rock group, which sounds interesting. But not for me. It goes.

How She Died, How I Lived by Mary Crockett

do remember adding this book, I think it was for a giveaway though. Not something I necessarily want to read at the moment. It goes.

The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

This is a monster of a book! It’s a bit daunting to pick up at the moment, I think. I’ll leave it for another time when I’m not quite so busy. It goes.

The 57 Bus by Dashka Slater

A young adult nonfiction book that I’ve been wanting to read for a while. Since I first saw it online, actually. Definitely staying.

The New Guy by Amy Spaulding

Hmm…I don’t remember adding this one either. 😂 That seems to be the trend of this week. Lots of books being added that I don’t remember. It goes.

The Familiars by Stacey Hall

I have the ARC of this! That I obviously haven’t read yet. This one is centered around witch hunts and it sounds really interesting. It stays.

Even If I Fall by Abigail Johnson

I reviewed a book by Abigail Johnson when I first started reviewing on NetGalley and it was really enjoyable! I think I was just approved for her new book, coming out next year. Yay! Maybe I’ll read this one eventually.

Watch Us Rise by Renee Watson

This was another book that I entered a giveaway for that I don’t necessarily want to read immediately. It goes.

Stay or Go?

Out of the 8 books for September:

5 are leaving

2 are staying

1 is going to eventually.

Overall, not a bad month!
