The organizers of the 24 in 48 Readathon have been on hiatus for a while, but they’re back! To help foster some community in scary times, they’re hosting a readathon this weekend with the theme of social distancing. At first, I didn’t think I would be able to participate because of work. But, now I can! I haven’t had an entire weekend off since January, and though it’s not the best of circumstances, I’m making do.
For those of you that don’t know, the goal of the 24 in 48 is to read for 24 hours in one weekend. Last time I participated, I finished the 24 hours! I’m not sure I’ll get there this year, but filling this weekend with as much reading as possible sounds good to me.
So what will I be reading? Stay tuned to see!
24 in 48 Readathon: Planned TBR
In my attempt to prioritize books I need to finish this month, this list isn’t super long. Throwing in some graphic novels, though, to help break up the books I am reading!
Harrow the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
I need to finish this to review it, so this weekend dedicated to only reading seems like the perfect time! Except the text in the eARC I have is super small and I can’t figure out how to make it bigger. Oh well. I’m making do!
Space Boy 1, 2, and 3 by Stephen McCranie
These three books are books that I got from the library before we closed to the public. I had seen them around the internet and was looking for some graphic novels to read this month. This weekend seems like the perfect time!
P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
It feels like I got this from the library forever ago, but I still haven’t read it yet. I wanted to finish the trilogy! I’ve got the next book too, and they’re quick reads, so I’m not too worried.
