It’s officially the last day of February! So here we are with my February 2021 Wrap Up! The last few weeks haven’t been super reading heavy for me, at least during the week. Been reading a lot of graphic novels on the weekends, though! And getting back into comics. Yay! I’ve got 8 more volumes in the Civil War spin-offs, and then I can move on from there. For more events! Marvel just likes to have a ton of large spanning events.
Anyway, for February I read 32 books! Officially finished the last one today. And I knocked everything off my TBR, so yay! Feeling accomplished for this month and moving forward.
Reading Challenges
Unread Shelf Project and Book Riot’s Read Harder Challenge check in time! I finished the prompts for both of the challenges, and have completed some diversity book challenges as well. I’ll have to do a separate post about those sometime! Maybe a mid-way year check in.
For the Unread Shelf, I finished the second challenge: A book you got for free. So I read:
- Muted by Tami Charles
And I reviewed it! So check it out if you haven’t seen it yet.
For Book Riot’s Challenge, I read two books too!
- Read a non-European novel in translation: Here The Whole Time by Vitor Martins
- Read an LGBTQ+ history book: Transgender History by Susan Stryker
I like these because it pushes me outside of my comfort zone. And to read more diversely!
Other February Favorites
This month, I finished my re-watch of Schitt’s Creek, which I already want to watch again. Still watching WandaVision, too! Which I’ve been loving. My mom started watching Parks and Rec, too, so I’ve been watching that with her. Movie wise, I didn’t really watch anything new. More re-watching things, like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Love, Simon, and Spider-Man: Homecoming. Comfort movies for the win!
