Hello friends! We’re in the last week of February, and I just have one book left on my TBR. I think I can do it! Or, I know I can do it. The last book I have to read is on the long side, so I just have to carve out time to read! Anyway, today’s top ten post is about books that make me LOL. This is a fun one! I feel like I’ve been reading a lot of darker books lately, so this will be refreshing!
Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently run by The Artsy Reader Girl. Check out my last one here!

Books That Make Me LOL
1. Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall
There’s one character in this book that makes me laugh every single time he’s in a scene. It’s great. This was such a fun read and it’s one I definitely think I’m going to have to revisit at some point!
2. Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
If you follow me on Instagram, you know this is one of my favorite books of all time. Not only did I rave about it in my review, but it has the perfect mix of everything. Seriously, I absolutely love it.
3. Check, Please! by Ngozi Ukazu
I just finished the sequel to this this weekend and it’s just as good as the first! I loved all the characters and the antics of the hockey players. It was such a fantastic story!
4. My Calamity Jane by Cynthia Hand
Actually, any of the books in the Janies series are fair game for this list. They’re hilarious fun adventures twisting history to be more feminist. There’s a new one coming out this year and I’m super excited!
5. You Should See Me In a Crown by Leah Johnson
This is a rom-com that should definitely be on your list to read this year, if you haven’t already! While it deals with a lot of heavier topics, there are some really funny moments in this book, too.
6. Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli
Becky Albertalli has a knack for writing great groups of high school friends. Friends who get into the most hilarious situations at times. There are a few laugh out loud scenes in this book for sure!
7. The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness
Absolutely the best thing about this book is the little snippets at the beginning of each chapter. It’s making fun of young adult dystopia and I love every moment of it because it’s definitely a book to make me LOL.
8. Beauty Queens by Libba Bray
This is an older book about a group of girls who get stranded on a desert island. And there are some really great moments in it. It’s kind of like a lord of the flies retelling, but way funnier.
9. Almost American Girl by Robin Ha
A graphic novel memoir about being an American immigrant. There are some great moments, even in the deeper discussions that happen throughout the book.
10. Camp by LC Rosen
A book about a boy pretending to be something he isn’t in order to make another boy fall in love with him is sure to have some funny moments. This one definitely does! Summer camp hijinks and all.
