Hello friends! It’s a late post today because I got into an art project and lost most of the afternoon. But here we are! It’s still Tuesday, so I still have time for my Top Ten Tuesday post. Today’s theme is Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time. There are so many! If you could experience those feelings for the first time again. It would be so amazing. I know some people don’t like to re-read books, but I am all about it.
Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently run by The Artsy Reader Girl. Check out my last one here!

Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time
1. Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
You had to know this one was coming, right? It’s one of my favorite books of all time and it will definitely always make this list. I’m planning on re-reading it soon, actually! Once I catch up on some review books.
2. The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
Getting to meet this family again for the first time would be a dream. They are adorable and lovely and I can remember the first time I read it last fall. So immersive and wonderful!
3. More Than This by Patrick Ness
This book was mind-blowing, and it’s not the same reading it for a second time because I know what’s coming. Which isn’t a bad thing, but it’s not the same as reading it for the first time!
4. The Darkness Outside of Us by Eliot Schrefer
This is a new release, but it wasn’t at all what I was expecting. It was just plot twist after plot twist! I promise, if you pick up this book, you definitely won’t be disappointed.
5. Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas
Sadly, this is one I haven’t re-read yet. I plan to! It would honestly make the perfect fall read. So maybe I’ll get to it in October! There’s so much to love about this book, including the world building and the characters.
6. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
I will forever remember the first time that I read this book. I couldn’t put it down! And now, I have a tattoo because of it. This is one I’m actually about to re-read for a book club and I am super excited!
7. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
Another one that I basically read in one sitting! I want to meet Simon and Baz again for the first time and get into the world of Watford again. There’s nothing like reading this book for the first time!
8. Heartstopper by Alice Oseman
I remember picking this book up for the first time and not wanting it to end. It’s so adorable and heartwarming and I would love to bottle up that emotion forever.
9. Wolfsong by TJ Klune
I’m almost done with the Green Creek series and I don’t want it to end! I love this little found family, and would love to read the first book again with fresh eyes.
10. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
I have loved The Hunger Games ever since the first book came out. Since it’s been so long, re-reading might feel like the first time again. And I would love that!
