Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! This week, we’re talking about characters who should team up from different books. Such a fun idea! You can think about the kinds of crossovers you would want (and maybe even what authors you’d want to write a book together). Or maybe there are just some characters who could help each other with life!
Like most of my posts, this will focus mostly on YA with a spattering of a few adult books I love. If you’ve been following me for a while, you probably have a guess on what those are!

Characters Who Should Team Up
Nick from Heartstopper and Alex from Red, White, & Royal Blue
At first glance, you might be confused by this team up. But! They both could definitely help each other out with their bi awakenings, let’s be honest. They could both talk about their feelings and help each other through the rocky patches.
Imogen from Imogen, Obviously and Georgia from Loveless
In a similar vein (maybe this is all this list will be?),Imogen and Georgia would become fantastic friends. And be able to help each other with their queer identities. They would also make the most epic, queer friend group of all time.
Baz from Carry On and Prince Henry from Red, White, & Royal Blue
They would be able to relate about their respective love interests, hands down. Both of them basically fell instantly for Simon and Alex, who were very slow on the uptake. Plus, they’re both British and even though Baz is a vampire, they’ll still be able to relate to each other.
Nick from The Extraordinaries and Nimona from Nimona
Okay, hear me out. This is a bit of a strange pairing, but they would make such a great team! Sure, Nimona causes a bit more chaos than Nick, but their energies would feed off each other splendidly. I would love to see it.
Pippa from A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and Stevie from Truly Devious
Pippa and Stevie would make the most epic mystery solving duo. Though they do both have similar flaws, so maybe that would be to their detriment. They’d definitely be dedicated to solving cold cases, though!
Katniss from The Hunger Games and Katsa from Graceling
Both of these girls were thrown into a revolution of sorts and happened upon a romance when they weren’t expecting one. If they worked together, you know that they would probably kick some ass.
Charlie from Heartstopper and Dylan from They Hate Each Other
Not quite in the same boat, as Dylan ends up in a relationship with his rival, but they are both dealing with heavy mental health stuff. There’s something in talking to someone who just gets it, and they could be that for each other.
Quique from This Is Why They Hate Us and Wes from The Summer of Everything
Both of them know what it’s like to be in love with your best friend and not be sure if they love you back. They’d definitely be able to complain to each other about it and find comfort in the fact that they’re not the only ones.
Kaz from Six of Crows and Rowan from Scythe
Honestly, these two could definitely get up to no good for the betterment of society. Even if they won’t admit that’s what they’re doing. They both have a dark streak, but are willing to work towards something better.
Simon from Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda and Sky from The Sky Blues
Not only do both of these books give me similar vibes, but Sky and Simon would get along swimmingly. Both of them are victims of some sort of email leak, and eventually fall in love with someone because of that.
