Top Covers of 2020

The year 2020 has really had some ups and downs, but we’re still here together! Most of the ups were the fantastic books released this year. There have been so many great ones! Including some fantastic covers. Which is why this post will focus on the top overs of 2020! Plus, I feel like my reading game is on point lately. I’ve been getting all the books finished, and we still have 3 months left in the year!

This means there are also still a few months left of great new releases to come. Fall always has the best releases due to the coming holiday season. Keep an eye out for some of my reviews to come in the next month or so to see what great books you should add to that list!

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently run by The Artsy Reader Girl. Check out my last one here!

Top Covers of 2020

1. Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas

We love a great maroon cover! Honestly, I’m in love with the dust cover and the naked cover of this book. I’m so glad to finally have my physical copy! (Check out my review to see why you need to read this book!)

2. You Should See Me in a Crown by Leah Johnson

Alternatively, I also love a great purple cover. Given that purple is my favorite color. I love the combination of illustration and real images in this cover. It’s such a standout!

3. A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Roseanne A. Brown

This is an example of a book that pretty much perfectly matches the story. It’s regal, elegant, and courtly in nature. I mean, just look at it!!

4. Harley in the Sky by Akemi Dawn Bowman

I’m in love with all of Bowman’s covers. They’re all illustrated with sort of a painted quality. While Summer Bird Blue is probably my favorite, this one is still fantastic too!

5. The Gravity of Us by Phil Stamper

Who doesn’t love a good sunset? Definitely the best thing about the cover. Seriously, it might be one of my all time favorites.

6. A Song Below Water by Bethany C. Morrow

This book mimics the water theme found throughout the book and it’s gorgeous. I could look at it all day!

7. House of Earth and Blooby Sarah J. Maas

SJ Maas’s books always have fantastic covers, but I think this is my favorite. The illustration and the colors; everything works together so well.

8. We Unleash the Merciless Storm by Tehlor Kay Mejia

I just got into these books this year, and the covers are just amazing. The rainbow against the black just looks so stunning.

9. Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall

The symmetry of this cover really appeals to me. Plus, it reminds me of Red, White, & Royal Blue, which is probably one of my favorite books!

10. Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender

One of the best things about this cover is the representation that it shows. Plus, it’s just an amazing book all around!
